How a van deadlock works
Van deadlocks function similarly to a Chubb front door lock, providing an essential layer of security for your vehicle. To secure the door, simply insert the key and turn it completely, which will allow the deadbolt or hook bolt to extend firmly into the door frame. To unlock the door, turn the key in the opposite direction. When you do this, the door will remain in an unlocked position until you turn the key again. It is important to note that van deadlocks operate independently from the vehicle's central locking system, thereby enhancing security for both your vehicle and its valuable contents. Additionally, all locks in the system use the same key for added convenience.
