Step 1 - Finding the right product...

Step 2 - Marking & Cutting Out...
I take great care in marking out the position of the lock on the door, cutting out the necessary holes for the lock case, key barrel and fixing holes always ensuring precision. Each lock installation process is approached with meticulous attention to detail.

Step 3 - Cleaning & Rust Prevention...
Fitting a lock to a van requires careful attention to ensure both security and longevity. During the installation process I remove all burrs, metal swarf and dust, it is crucial to treat all bare metal surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion. Applying a rust-inhibiting coating helps seal the metal, creating a barrier against moisture and environmental elements.

Step 4 - Sealing & Fixing the Lock...
I use a high-quality sealant. Applying the sealant around the perimeter of the lock forend plate, creating a tight seal that will prevent moisture and debris from entering the assembly. Firmly securing the lock into the door with stainless steel rivets, taking care to align it properly. This process will provide a durable, long-lasting lock installation that will safeguard your van and its valuable cargo.

Step 5 - Sealing & Installing Lock Barrel Trim...
When fitting the lock trim to the van door, care is taken to ensure both functionality and aesthetics. Sealant is applied to protect against moisture and dirt ingress, ensuring longevity. This methodical approach minimizes the risk of future issues while providing a professional finish that enhances the vehicle's overall appearance.

Remote central locking keys
I am able to cut and program most remote keys for campervans and motorhomes. Please call me for more information on your vehicle.
Spare non remote keys,
A spare key that mechanically turns the door locks and is also programmed to start the vehicle. Handy for an emergency if the main van key is lost.
Surf keys
These keys don’t have any electrics or transponders in them, so you can go surfing, swimming, climbing etc without the risk of loosing an expensive key.
Replacement Remote key fob cases
If your remote central locking key is damaged is broken or has seen better days!
